Even regime apologists are abducted! No one is safe! When those who defend the system are no longer protected by it, we must ask: who is truly safe? Silence is no longer an option, this is a call for justice, accountability, and an end to impunity!

Rwabwogo man Mwijukye urinates in his pants as SFC intercept Kampala bound bus on which he was hiding, dragged to the basement to explain his viral tweet.
According to reports, counsel Mwijukye Ivan who has spent the past three days writing long paragraphs of apologies faced it rough when he was dragged off a bus in Ibanda at an SFC mounted road block.
The gumite Rwabwoogo boy authored a critical X post that went viral and triggered sentiments in neighboring Rwanda which eventually caused him retribution.
Now, all eyes are on Duncan Abigaba as the count down of his 48hr ultimatum to the CDF to free Bagonza ticks
#KJNews
Ivan Mwijukye pointed out the tribal bigotry and the dangers it poses for a country that once lost almost a million people due to such tribal extremism, and for our country as well. He was hunted down all the way up to Mbarara and a whole bus full of passengers was stopped to pick him from it!! What in the name of thin-skinnedness and insecurity is this?!!
I want to put this on record: media never forgets. I am totally against the kind of abductions taking place. We, as NRM/PLU, should maintain a clear difference between ourselves and the past regimes of Obote and Amin.
Let people be arrested if they have committed crimes, but not through abductions. We must uphold the rule of law and due process. Otherwise, what difference are we making between ourselves and the very regimes we say we moved beyond? @PLUsecretariat@MwesigyeFranks@HonTwallafadil
But honestly, how did we get here as a country, and where are we headed?
I am told that this young man was abducted. This is a young boy, for Christ’s sake, who is simply trying to find his space in Uganda’s politics.
I disagree with him on many things, but you can clearly tell that he is still young and naive about so many things. Why would anyone respond to a young person’s posts on X with abduction? What exactly are we trying to achieve?
He is probably somewhere right now being tortured, but for what? For expressing his views? For being politically naive? For trying to participate in the politics of his own country?
The other day, it was a 73-year-old woman. Now it is a boy in his early 20s.
What kind of country are we becoming? And where does this end?
Oh Uganda! 😭🙌
Confirmed ruthless Uganda, comrade @Mwijukyeivan has been detained by the first son of president @KagutaMuseveni in his basement.
He has been a great supporter in the recent election that gave us 71%+victory. And now being treated like a hen thief.
I’m deeply grateful to have successfully completed the Human Trafficking Response Training at UNAFRI. This experience has strengthened my understanding of prevention, victim protection, investigation, and the importance of coordinated action in the fight against trafficking in persons.
A certificate today, but a greater responsibility tomorrow to use the knowledge gained to contribute to safer communities and a world free from human trafficking. 🤍@UNAFRI21

TVET institutions are stigmatized by society because of the misconception that vocational and technical education is only for students who have failed academically but rather it is a pathway to skills, innovation and self reliance that build our nation.
Thank you Dr. Lawerence🙏
The greatest gift anyone can give is showing up.
To my friends like @Kasuku256 and others who stood with my blood brother Ntabaazi Moses on the ground in Ndeeba Mutebi Zone, thank you. You represented me with pride in my own community, and that is something I will always remember.
Forever grateful.
