Had an incredibly insightful and enlightening discussion yesterday with support-givers and men with lived experience of prostate cancer at the Conway Institute, UCD!
IPCOR is dedicated to creating a holistic registry platform reflecting every part of the prostate cancer journey, including the effect of disease on partners, family members and households. Yesterday's workshop focused on the effect of diagnosis and treatment on personal relationships, social life and the physical/mental health of caregivers. We look forward to documenting the outcomes of our discussion and use these perspectives to fuel future research initiatives and recommendations to policymakers!
Special thanks to @PVCR_Ireland for their incredible facilitation and support.
Memorable moments for me last Sunday when I was personally congratulated for my great achievement in Cork City Council by Minister Michael Martin. Thank you, Michael, for encouraging me and my family.

There are questions we ask in our heads but very rarely out loud (or in national newspapers)...Here's to the urologist, @FardodOKelly, for answering one of them for @Independent_ie. 'Twas a surprisingly fun interview! https://t.co/1grpejtm0m
