Biomolecular condensates can concentrate macromolecules and metabolites to boost or quench biochemical reaction. But what about gases?
In the preprint below expertly led by @AnkushG60850251, we try to answer this question for oxygen.

🚨REMINDER - IDPSeminars is back 🚨
The first IDPSeminars of fall 2024 kicks off THIS WEEK with @dhnisz and @bwfalcon !
Sign up here https://t.co/WqQLW1UyH4.
Date: Thursday 7th
Time: 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 7 PM CET
Zoom links will be distributed by email on Wed. afternoon!
Also, have a look at the amazing program lined up and more good things are in store in the next round!
It is amazing that @IDPseminars have kept going when other online seminars folded, and I am sure this will continue under Lucia and Jackie’s leadership.
It has been more than four years since @alexholehouse and I started @IDPseminars and now it is time for fresh blood and fresh ideas! We are happy to announce that @chemeslab and @PelhamJackie take over as hosts!
We (@alexholehouse and @ProteinMagnus) started IDPSeminars in May 2020. It has been a wonderful platform to host an incredible array of international science. What began as a pandemic alternative to conferences has blossomed into a consistent and supportive community.
It has been a pleasure to host @IDPseminars– literally you get to invite the coolest scientists in your field to your living room to give a talk. However, I am a little worn out from hosting online seminars and I look forward joining the audience 😊.
1/ Our lab’s first preprint found a wonderful journal home! 🎉
Our paper explores the role of testis-specific transcription factors in Drosophila and reveals broad functional connections between tissue-specific paralog proteins.

Whelp! 😮
The number of registrants for our condensate meeting exceeds the venue capacity by a factor of 2. I guess we have some hard choices ahead. I would like to apologize in advance to those we have to deselect!
The abstract submission deadline of our conference on biomolecular condensates is approaching fast!
Sign-up before Oct. 1st to be considered for a short talk and secure one of the limited seats!

@martens_chloe@BjornPPedersen@uhammes Sorry for mis-tagging you in my post... 😳
Well, I have got 6 years to learn your Twitter handle (if this place stays alve for that long).
Now we will do this on a big scale with the @GrundforskFond center Plant-PATH bringing in complementary expertise in the form of @uhammes and @martensChloe.
Together we will study the molecular mechanisms of regulation of plant hormone transport over the next 6 (or 10🤞) years!
What is better than getting a big grant?
Getting a big grant together with a good, old friend! (and some new ones). We are happy to unveil “Plant-PATH: Center for Active Transport of Plant Hormones” together with @BjornPPedersen, @martenschloe & @uhammes

For 10 years, I have had @BjornPPedersen as my lab next door-neighbor. We have discussed the dangly disordered bits that hang off his favorite transporters over many cups of coffee and bottles of beer always ending up with the conclusion:
“We should do a project together”.
The abstract submission deadline of our conference on biomolecular condensates is approaching fast!

Would you see your name in this list of illustrious speakers?
Then we need your abstract before October 1st! We will close the abstract submission and select attendees for our wonderful meeting on biomolecular condensates on this date.
https://t.co/wSFuXBaBNF
If we still have open slots to attend, we may reopen the registration for attendees (but not speaker selection) after that date, but do not count on it. If you want to be considered please sign-up before October 1st on the link above.
Only 10 days left before the deadline closes📌
Become our fifth group leader and get a unique chance to explore your own research project in an excellent, international environment @AarhusUni_int, @AIAS_dk and as part of @NordicEMBL🔬

Congrats to the best poster award winndes at IDP GRC 2024🏅🍝:
