Hey, quick question for anyone in NYC who tested positive for Covid-19 at a city-run or private testing location in the past 2 weeks:
Did a contact tracer from NYC Test & Trace Corps reach out to follow up after your positive result?
“Waking up in NYC at the crack of dawn on a Monday morning to the loudest thunder I’ve ever heard in my life, I couldn’t help but wonder: is this the day we’re finally being nuked?”

Update re the Astoria Test & Trace mobile van at 22-48 31st St.
According to the City, the van was re-deployed as support to an emergency room that is inundated, which is a priority for relief. No word on when traffic will dissipate to ER & van will re deploy to Astoria.
@FLynch2020 @NYCHealthSystem@NYCMayor@NYC_CTO@NYPDTECH Thanks, but I stand by my original statement.
There is absolutely a better way to disseminate this info to the broader community with legible infographics that can be shared on Fbook, insta etc.
There has to be a better way to share Covid-19 test site info on social media this current system of graphics with text so small it's illegible

Get tested, New York City!
Free #COVID19 testing is available in all 5 boroughs through the Test & Trace Corps. Visit https://t.co/9WkBHFCKGJ for more information.
See below for sites on Staten Island and in Brooklyn and Queens.
This is all I'm suggesting; the city should have a website where I can:
- Punch in my zip code to see nearby test locations
- Be able to filter it quickly for publicly run sites
- Be able to see the wait times for the city-run sites right there
- Make appointment if needed
Here's what the COVID website will not do:
- There is no option to filter out the privately run sites and see just the public sites. The only way to tell is if you click on each one and know the provider identifers.
- It does not include the DOHMH rapid test sites
The official NYC covid testing map is missing H+H-run sites. Consult both maps when looking for a location that works for you

The Variety Boys and Girls Club in Astoria opened as a testing site Monday, Dec. 27 and will be open for Queens residents through January. https://t.co/10bdoLCyi8
