जैन धर्म का मूल सिद्धांत है — "अहिंसा परमो धर्मः"।

दिगंबर परंपरा में पिच्छी परंपरागत रूप से प्राकृतिक रूप से गिरे हुए मोर पंखों से बनाई जाती है। भारत का राष्ट्रीय पक्षी मोर कानूनी रूप से संरक्षित है और उसकी हत्या या अवैध व्यापार दंडनीय अपराध है।

यदि किसी के पास यह प्रमाण है कि जैन समाज के कारण मोरों की हत्या हो रही है, तो ऐसे सबूत सार्वजनिक किए जाने चाहिए। जैन समाज स्वयं भी ऐसे किसी अवैध कार्य के विरुद्ध कठोर कार्रवाई का समर्थन करेगा।

आरोपों और तथ्यों में अंतर होता है। किसी भी समुदाय पर गंभीर आरोप लगाने से पहले प्रमाण और सत्यापन आवश्यक हैं।

आस्था के नाम पर केसरियाजी जैसे जैन तीर्थों में हिंदू समाज पूरे सम्मान के साथ अपनी श्रद्धा जताता है और जैन समाज ने कभी इस पर आपत्ति नहीं की।
फिर भी आज गिरनार में जैनों के प्राचीन अधिकार धीरे-धीरे छीने जा रहे हैं।

केसरियाजी में कोर्ट केस जीतने के बाद भी जैन समाज से कहा जाता है कि वहाँ उसका कोई हक नहीं, क्योंकि बहुसंख्यक समाज मंदिर छोड़ना नहीं चाहता और जैन समाज मजबूर होकर चुप है।

लेकिन गिरनार में हिंदू भाइयों को इस बात से तकलीफ है कि जैन लोग अपना इतिहास क्यों बताते हैं।
यह दोहरा मापदंड बहुत दुख देता है… 💔

What we are asking is to maintain basic dignity and sanctity of the place which is highly revered by jains from all over the world.
●A civilisation is judged by how it protects its sacred religious places.
