TikTok has one of the largest audiences in the world, especially among young people. If Somalilanders become active, consistent creators, we can reach millions of people who have never heard our story. Short, engaging videos can educate Somaliland youth about their history and identity, while also helping international audiences better understand Somaliland.
If we work together and post consistently, we can build a strong presence on TikTok, inspire more people to advocate for Somaliland, and make our voices heard on a global platform. The more quality content we create, the greater our reach and impact will be.
Let's not limit ourselves to one platform. It's time for Somalilanders to bring the same energy to TikTok that we've brought to X.
