.@Prov_Port is going to play a major role in establishing America's offshore wind energy market. Creating good-paying jobs and helping our country reach its renewable energy goals. https://t.co/7KaGdbdaqI
“I’m actually reminded of an old proverb...‘when the winds of change blow, some build walls, others build windmills…and we know which side of that Rhode Island falls on’” said @SecGranholm during her visit to @Prov_Port’s offshore wind construction hub

"A gust of job growth throughout the country."- @SecGranholm. A true partnership is happening at @Prov_Port, between the federal government, Rhode Island, labor, & the private sector. We are creating good-paying local jobs and setting America up for Energy 2.0 and offshore wind.
With our partner @EversourceCorp, we were proud to welcome @SecGranholm & @GovDanMcKee to tour the new offshore wind construction hub under development at @Prov_Port. The hub will help establish the port as a major part of America's offshore wind future. https://t.co/Nf1mLTGR9a
RI has long been a leader in clean energy innovation.
I was proud to show @SecGranholm the regional offshore wind manufacturing hub at @Prov_Port — the first facility of its kind in the U.S. This project creates good-paying union jobs while promoting a more sustainable future.
Thank you @SecGranholm and @GovDanMcKee for coming to @Prov_Port to see what the future has in store for the #offshorewind industry and the jobs it’s already creating. With the #BIF signed into law we can expect a lot more movement on renewable energy infrastructure jobs!
Pieces of three new wind turbines that are set to rise over the waterfront arrived in the Port of Providence. They will join another trio of wind turbines that went up in 2012 just to the north at the wastewater treatment plant.

Getting ready for school marine affairs style. Thanks, Chris, for spending the morning with us @Prov_Port (should have gotten you in this pic). See you tomorrow, class of 2024! @RWULaw
Did you know ProvPort cleaned up an old city landfill to create a public access point to the water back in 2017? Check out our op-ed in today’s @projo. https://t.co/k9xZ3uaKY9
I represented @WFO_global this a.m. on a tour of @Prov_Port hosted by the #offshorewind pioneers at Waterson Terminal Services. Foundations for @RevWind will soon be manufactured at this top-notch facility @EversourceCorp@OrstedUS
Great feature on RI’s #blueeconomy . Our terminal manager @Chris_Waterson is interviewed and discusses the work ProvPort and WTS are doing to prepare for #offshorewind in RI!
Cutting the ribbon on Pier 2 upgrades in @QuonsetRI’s Port of Davisville is an encouraging sign of progress as we emerge from the pandemic.
The $60 million improvements will position the port to grow jobs and economic opportunities right here in Rhode Island.
