Heres how I combat that:

I let myself explore.
Quickly it loses it's romance.

2. informed pesimism
3A. dispair
or
3B. informed optimism
4. success.

I let 3A happen.
Helps me focus on my 3B

b) $500k makes my brain connect to 500 x $1000

For me A would convert better, but I think this could go either way and would need A/B testing to confirm.

The $1 subscription method I understood.
The freemium method works for software that hides the most requested features behind a paywall.
But just offering things for free I don’t understand.
Give free value as part of a grand slam offer maybe?

As I learn I start to peel back the layers and see the rot.
