The 1792 Coinage Act has NEVER, I repeat, NEVER been repealed. The legal definition of a Dollar is 371.25 grains of Silver. A Federal Reserve Note is not a Dollar it is a Federal Reserve Note. 50:1 ratio is the silver price * .77344 (371.25 grains of silver). No such thing as a paper dollar, as paper comes from trees.
