@kylelily123abc4 Mechanically it's still the same. Although 3D allows for gameplay gimmicks that weren't possible before. I also did it to unify the game's style and it's much more sound on a technical level (better performance, etc.)

@CrimeArc I experimented with funky backgrounds like that for the new battle system as well and I did prefer them. I just didn't manage to make original ones in time for the teaser. Thanks for the reminder!
