WHAT SIN DID AFRICA COMMIT?
My mother is from the Baby Boomers and I am Gen Y.
That means my mother have watched six decades-plus of prayers, prophecies, crusades, fasting, seed sowing, night vigils, and stadium-filling gatherings.
And I must ask a sincere question:
What sin did Africans really commit that we are still atoning for?
For decades we have had:
• Stadium-filled crusades
• Million-man gatherings
• Night of Bliss
• Shiloh
• Holy Ghost Congress
• Festival of Life
• Prayer conferences everywhere
We have prayed.
We have cried.
We have rolled on the floor.
We have fasted.
We have sown seeds.
We have shouted “Amen” until our voices disappeared.
Yet…
Poverty is still ravaging lives.
Children are abused daily.
Millions go to bed hungry.
Graduates roam the streets without jobs.
Substance abuse is rising.
Violence against women continues.
Healthcare systems are weak.
Unemployment is high.
Governance is fragile.
And morality?
At an all-time low.
Brotherhood and sisterhood are now slogans, not realities.
Role models are disappearing.
Many people no longer have a conscience.
So I ask again:
What exactly did we do that God has not forgiven?
Or are we missing something?
Maybe We Are Missing What “Kingdom” Truly Means
Kingdom is not noise.
Kingdom is not crowd size.
Kingdom is not how many nights you pray.
Kingdom is strategic.
Kingdom is social impact.
Kingdom is felt.
Kingdom transforms systems.
True kingdom influences:
• Government
• Education
• Business
• Law
• Culture
Kingdom produces competent leaders.
Kingdom builds institutions.
Kingdom protects the vulnerable.
Kingdom creates opportunities.
📌📌It doesn’t just promise heaven, it improves earth📌📌
The Hard Truth
Africa is not cursed.
Africa is under-structured.
Other nations are not better because they pray less.
They are ahead because they built systems:
• Strong institutions
• Functional education
• Accountable leadership
• Industrial capacity
• Law enforcement
• Economic planning
📌📌Prayer without systems produces emotion not transformation📌📌
📌📌Faith without responsibility produces dependency not development📌📌
The Industry of Hope
Let’s be honest.
Some of these religious platforms have become industries !!
The owners and CEOs are building wealth.
They are leaving legacies for their children.
They are expanding empires.
Meanwhile, the people remain emotionally charged but economically stranded.
The smartest wins.
And the cycle continues.
I Refuse the Pattern
I refuse to join this generational pattern of roaming.
Restlessness.
Endless waiting.
Lack of focus.
Outsourcing responsibility to heaven.
I refuse for my children to inherit confusion disguised as spirituality.
God is not withholding anything from us.
Everything required to build strong nations already exists:
• Intelligence
• Resources
• Youthful energy
• Creativity
• Natural wealth
The difference is structure.
The difference is accountability.
The difference is discipline.
The difference is strategic thinking.
📌📌Maybe the Real Miracle We Need Is Responsibility 📌📌
Instead of asking:
“When will God change our story?”
Maybe we should ask:
“When will we change our systems?”
Instead of:
“Who offended heaven?”
Maybe ask:
“Who failed to build institutions?”
Heaven is not the problem.
Governance is.
Leadership selection is.
Civic engagement is.
Cultural discipline is.
This is not an attack on faith.
Faith should inspire excellence.
Faith should produce integrity.
Faith should empower action.
But faith must move from altar to action.
We cannot keep waiting for miracles while neglecting responsibility.
God has given us all we need to live well.
The question is:
Will we use it?
Or will we continue to be used?
I am choosing differently.
And I hope more of us begin to ask deeper questions.
In streets of dust and nights of pain,
A nation sighs, yet whispers remain,
Quiet acceptance, a heavy crown,
The average Nigerian story, worn.
Hardship is familiar, a constant guest,
Poverty weight, a never-ending test,
Resilience born, in every stride,
A people strong, with hearts full of pride.
In silence, they bear the weight,
Of broken dreams, and futures late,
Yet still they rise, with every dawn,
And face the day, with hearts unbroken.
Their story told, in every line,
On faces worn, and weary eyes that shine,
A testament to strength and might,
The quiet acceptance, of a nation's plight.

@DaninhoEze Obedient were busy threatening that without Obi as a presidential candidate on the ADC platform they will back out, now that Obi has disassociated himself from your petty selves, what next?
Obi knows his place in the coalition so you all can rest please.
@thecableng@aonanuga1956@DOlusegun@officialABAT This isn’t heartbreaking, this is soft. Come over and I’ll show you the graves of hundreds who died for their beliefs in their religious faith and the president continued with his routines
