@BBCNews I’ve worked with and for Pharma’s that produce Topical Steroids and Immunosuppressants. None of which treat the underlying causes. Dermatologists treating auto-immune diseases is like a Firefighter following a Pyromanic around, putting out their fires but not preventing the fire.

My 1st COVID experience, it affected my gut and I flared really badly (I also had long COVID). 2nd time round was much worse (came close to no longer being here) but gut fine & 90% clearance of PsO

@BBCNews A cold compress can help to sooth the hot burning feeling but any form of rubbing is not good for the skin and just irritates it further. If your skin is already at the point of wanting to scratch it that badly then you need to see a Derm’ to change your treatment plan #Psoriasis
