@gonka_ai_news@gonka_ai A rather interesting analysis. However, it reveals a biased presentation of the information, with each point presented as "plus for the Gonka, minus for the Cocoon."
This thread would be more objective if the arguments in the opposite direction were also presented here.

Crypto today can be viewed through two distinct but interdependent lenses: narratives and usability.
Narrative crypto builds belief – movements and attention around ideas like digital money or AI x crypto.
Usable crypto builds utility – wallets, stablecoins, exchanges, and DeFi that make crypto work in practice.
This framing from @yashhsm captures how the industry truly evolves: narratives attract capital and talent; usable products convert that momentum into lasting adoption.
TON is not an exception. On @ton_blockchain, both forces move together too:
> Usable products: @mytonwallet_io, @keeper_wallet, @AffluentOrg, @evaaprotocol, @dedust_io, @ston_fi, @Tonco_io, @TorchTon.
> Narrative products: @notcoin, @realDogsHouse, @GOATS_immortal, @BoinkersIO, @MemHustleArmy.
Each drives value differently – usability deepens the ecosystem’s economic base, while narratives expand its cultural reach.
As the article says, the king for usability is the USER; for narrative, it’s the COMMUNITY.
💎 I’d add: the queen for both is DISTRIBUTION, and in TON’s case, that means @telegram with its 1B MAU.
What we also see, however, is that the two lenses increasingly converge. Teams like @dedust_io show this well – while building some of the most advanced DeFi infrastructure on TON (usability), they also thrive on the memecoin trading narrative with launches such as @x1000_finance, turning technical excellence into community energy.
And some exceptionally talented teams – like @realDogsHouse or @PovelDurev – start from the opposite side: they launch with a token that embodies a strong philosophical or cultural concept, and within that narrative, they develop a series of usable products, forming self-contained ecosystems rooted in story but sustained by function.
➡️All in all, for new builders, TON offers both paths:
• Narrative track: Telegram stickers, gifts, NFTs, memecoins.
• Usability track: payments, RWA tokenisation, infra.
The next phase of TON’s growth will belong to those who bridge both – pairing utility with vision, and amplifying both through Telegram’s unmatched 1 billion reach.
