But as a gamer and consumer, ya gotta keep yer wits about ya, lads. Everything coming out now is going to be perfect, best ever, 10/10, GOTY, editor approved blah blah blah. Cut through the smoke n' mirrors.
You worked hard for your cash.
Make them work hard for it too.
@armondo1477 My bad, lad. I accidentally only saw this now when looking up something else. Twitter/x didn't tell me anyone replied, sigh. But indeed! Aimin' to take on the cartoony zombie hordes with any and all ^_^
Technically, it starts next month but I just found out a few minutes ago. Been a-waitin' to play that bad boy for eons now. Sure, coulda dropped cash to get in 'early' but they said it'll be free to play and by golly a man has to have his priorities. Lookin' forward to it!
@Grummz Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead 'predicted' a lot of this stuff. They're both a hilarious, sardonic read with how spot on it continues to be each passing year.
@davidscottjaffe Based on the trailer it's par the course for these types of games, at least from what I've seen others play of them. What sort of tweaks would you like to see improved on? Gameplay, controls, art?
@davidscottjaffe Probably not it exactly, but "pulp art" gets pretty close to a lot of the backglass style of that time.
Carnival stuff is harder to find as all that's popping up on google is Brazil's version and not the travelling carnival stuff you wanted to see.
@dyingscribe I see it more of him equally tired and satisfied. Man put in the grind and got the job done. Now he can relax by baggin' the target he was after from the start.
@BlightsMageVll@davidscottjaffe Aye, doesn't make sense. And props to the devs that remade it the first time, as pointless as the task is (just get the original) at least they didn't change anything for spurious reasons.
@davidscottjaffe Are gamers to blame? No. The devs. It's always the devs. Gamers strive to be the best they can in games and want a quality product. Devs want to jackhammer a message. When they don't care about the bottom line, they can enjoy the 'benefits' of such.
