Here is what works:

1 - Automate Everything – Bills, savings, and investments should happen automatically so they do not rely on memory or impulse.

2 - Use Separate Accounts – A “spending” account and a “bills” account prevent accidental overspending.

3 - Set Visual Reminders – Calendar alerts, sticky notes, or even gamifying budgeting can help keep track.

4 - Use ADHD-Friendly Apps – Apps like YNAB or Mint categorize spending and make budgeting easier to follow.

5 - Work in Sprints – Instead of long budgeting sessions, do quick check-ins (5-10 minutes daily or weekly).

6 - Embrace the ‘Fun Fund’ – If everything feels restrictive, it will not stick. Allocate guilt-free money to spend.
