Writ challenging the validity of Gotabaya Rajapakses citizenship taken up in Court of Appeal today. Justices Kodagoda and Obeyesekere ask counsel for GR and MR if they have any objections to them hearing the case. Both counsel have no objections to either judge.

Judicial Service Commission Secy Somaratne gave evidence today about disciplinary cases due to corruption allegations against MC, DC & HC judges. Film maker Prasanna Vithanage also gave evidence on why he made a film about corrupt magistrate Lenin Ratnayake.
