BREAKING: I'm told by federal source that the suspect arrested in Fairfax County, VA for the stabbing murder of a mother near a jogging trail in Great Falls, VA is a Salvadoran illegal alien who was caught and released at the border by the Biden admin in El Paso, TX in April 2024. Fairfax County Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos this morning in connection to the stabbing killing of Carmen Lizet Puch on Monday and released a photo of his arrest.
I've also included a photo of Cedillos-Campos from when he was in Border Patrol custody in 2024, courtesy of a federal source. NBC Washington reports Puch was 42-years-old and had a young daughter.
Abdul El-Sayed's campaign: "Cherry-picked comments from old podcasts don't reflect his beliefs. today."
His comments saying he hates football and fireworks were from 2023 and 2024 lmfao
After two former first round NBA draft picks declared for @wnba draft, the WNBA’s commissioner says the league will be meeting to review what a woman is for purposes of league eligibility. These meetings need to be streamed live. That’s must see TV. https://t.co/wEdwVa05Up
NEW: GOP Michigan Senate nominee Mike Rogers releases statement after Abdul El-Sayed wins the Dem primary:
"I spent years hunting terrorists and bringing Osama bin Laden to justice. Never in a million years did I think that I would be running against someone who believes America deserved 9/11. Abdul doesn't represent a vision for the future. He's leading a movement grounded in ideological fanaticism. His agenda would make our communities less safe and our state less affordable. He wants to empty prisons and put murderers and sex offenders back on our streets. He pledged his support to the Muslim Brotherhood and campaigns with people who refuse to condemn terrorism. And, he advocated for the largest tax hike in American history — costing families already struggling to make ends meet over $3000 more per year. This election isn't just about choosing a Senator. It's about deciding whether Michigan has a future built on common sense — or whether we hand the keys to the most fringe extremists in the nation."
We have a state to save, Michigan. Let's Get to Work.”
Kay Granger was a trailblazer and tenacious leader. Among her many achievements, she was the first woman to be elected Mayor of Fort Worth and the first Republican woman to serve from Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the years that I worked with Kay, I learned from her indelible spirit, work ethic, constant sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to Texas and Fort Worth. I’m fortunate to have called her a mentor and friend. To Kay’s family, my prayers are with you. What a lady, and the end of an era in political service.
You know the “teen takeovers” that end in chaos every weekend in DC?
Our reporter found herself embedded in one, and learned they’re literally organized by the city.
Incredible and daring reporting by @leonasalinas19, who witnessed a shooting.

The federal government issued a warning Thursday about potential cyber threats to water systems after 30 water plants in Minnesota were hit with cyberattacks that multiple U.S. officials tell ABC News may have been linked to Iran. ABC News' Pierre Thomas reports.
The Washington Post reports that U.S. intelligence agencies have assessed Iran was likely behind a coordinated cyberattack targeting more than 30 municipal water systems in Minnesota, though officials say the assessment is not yet definitive and the FBI's investigation remains ongoing.
According to the Post, the attack disrupted control systems at multiple water facilities but did not contaminate drinking water or cause widespread service outages. The report notes federal cybersecurity officials have warned for months that Iranian cyber actors have been targeting internet-connected industrial control systems used by U.S. water, wastewater, and energy facilities.
Previous Iranian linked cyber activity has targeted water infrastructure, including incidents involving Pennsylvania utilities and repeated CISA warnings about Iranian exploitation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), but those cases were narrower in scope or attributed after law enforcement investigations rather than through a contemporaneous intelligence assessment.
