.@JaneAitchison, yesterday you compared the death of Tony Blair to the death of Hitler.
I’ve come to Pudsey to do my bit to make sure you never become an MP.
.@MattHancock and I couldn’t be clearer.
In any trade talks the NHS is not on the table, the price the NHS pays for drugs is not on the table, and the services the NHS provides are not on the table.
Not ever on our watch.
We love the NHS and will always protect it.
I’m deeply saddened at the death of my colleague, Cllr Gerald Wilkinson. Gerald was dedicated to life in the Wetherby area, he served as a Leeds City Councillor, a Town Councillor, and had the honour of being Wetherby Mayor and Deputy Lord Mayor of Leeds. May he rest in peace.
Really pleased to hear the Government is setting up an Office for Veterans' Affairs, with @JohnnyMercerUK heading it up.
Proud to also say that @HarboroughDC is one of the few local authorities that has a Veterans' Officer, who I'm currently working with on this agenda locally.
Commiserations to our brave #Lionesses - you played so well! You are an inspiration to countless girls & women across our country. We are so proud of you! #WomenWorldCup2019
Honoured to lay a wreath in memory of Royal Fusileer Lee Rigby in the presence of his family, and take the salute of the parade with them as part of Armed Forces Day in Pudsey. Big thank you to Pudsey British Legion for organising.
Loneliness is as damaging as smoking so #Lets TalkAboutLoneliness & take action just as @MethodistHome Horsforth Live at Home https://t.co/2O7Hkm7d2o does with their wellbeing workout, Walk & Talk group and dance sessions-company & fun in one local bundle.
Confess I found the statement by @theresa_may very moving. Her resilience has been something that I have admired against a very difficult situation. She has always wanted to do the best for our country and I thank her for her service. A true public servant.
