In a WRAP study from 2011, the UK's manufacturing sector used over 550,000ML (megaliters/1,000,000L) of fresh water in 2006. Companies must be made liable for the proper filtering and reuse of all its non-consumptive water in order to hugely reduce their impact on the environment
