I kept hearing about this mysterious video, which was waiting to be released, but then all of a sudden there was a guilty verdict. Plus, I was informed that the jury had already seen the video evidence.

If the counter narrative is to be believed, then perhaps those other fellow teammates of Austin became hostile to Karmelo, after he was asked to leave.

@amyfromatown @MotherJones They literally went through the video with witnesses testifying about what was happening in it. And the jury was not “all white”. What are you taking about? Every witness said Anthony was the aggressor, even defense witnesses.

But what I did find interesting about your point, is that the Jurors did see the surveillance videos. I thought that they didn't see them.
