@filtedxenon@michaelpfreeman The IRA gave Tesla precisely 0 dollars. Not a penny. And the tax credit that gave CONSUMERS money was removed by Trump this term.
@michaelpfreeman The current government ended EV credits that promised to greatly benefit Tesla. He must not have the pull you think. That, and, he has stated no credits are necessary. The product will sell if it's worth buying.
@ChiTownPanthera@TravisWaggone13 He was a bully by responding to multiple, kind, repeated requests for him to leave an area he was not supposed to be in. He threatened, while holding a knife. He's in jail now for murder for a reason. He was the problem. No one else.
@vlvtelvis@reesetheone1 Considering there are more female medical students than male they actually have it easier. Considering Omar runs in a district (one I live in BTW) as the only one she could win in as it has enough tribal Somali voters to ensure it, it's less about intelligence than it is location
@WajahatAli No. Elon has not received 38 billion in government subsidies. That is a fictional number. His companies received roughly 2 billion, Tesla, early on in subsidies. The rest is either the government paying for services it can't provide or other car makers handing Tesla money.
@PulseTires@singyoolaritee@TheBrancaShow Pulse. Fiction is fiction. That video was played in court. It was key PROSECUTION evidence. Over a dozen students, most black, confirmed that video evidence.
@AngryNekoGaming@jimstewartson Have I purchased any ETFs? You bet. I have lots. Because I elected to buy each share. I have 0 of anything I haven't purchased as a choice. No one on earth has either.
@BuffaloJon1@tayylorrmaee Oh, gosh and golly. You have now mentioned muting me in three posts. I almost believe you believe you aren't paying attention.
@BuffaloJon1@tayylorrmaee Yes. The government is paying SpaceX for services it provides the government can't provide itself. That is exactly what I said, and exactly what you said wasn't so. Because....duh....Artemis. As if that has anything to do with the reality of why they pay SpaceX.
@BuffaloJon1@tayylorrmaee Yes, those who can educate you are never worth paying attention to. After all, if you were smart enough to listen, you'd never have been dumb enough to post something so dumb.
@tayylorrmaee Right. This is why Biden paid so much to SpaceX. Because Trump loves Elon. Sometimes one marvels at the capacity others have to express such ignorance with astonishing confidence.
@BuffaloJon1@tayylorrmaee You not knowing Artemis is purpose built for returning to the moon, and that the government has lots of other needs in space it has no capacity to achieve, but SpaceX does, may be a you problem.
@tayylorrmaee You may be shocked to discover the government once made phone calls without cell phones. And now, weirdly, use cell phones. Technology evolves. The world changes. SpaceX doesn't get one dime free from the government. Not a penny.
@tayylorrmaee No. People went to space prior to SpaceX. It's merely that SpaceX is currently the only way the government can get to space when it wishes. Thus why the government pays SpaceX for services it can no longer provide for itself.
@AmoneyResists The federal government does pay SpaceX for services it provides the government. The government also buys phones from Apple. And uses cloud services from Microsoft. Should the government not pay for the things it buys?
@ResistanceSean Elon Musk, as with most people, and all people, will ALSO not get an interest free loan. He never has. He never will. He will get a loan he repays the lender at a lower rate than income the government would tax. That's true.
@tayylorrmaee SpaceX is paid, by the government, to provide a service the government can't do without SpaceX. I.E. go to fucking space. Why would you want a company to do that for free, precisely?
@tayylorrmaee The number is fiction. Rival automakers give Tesla money for credits Tesla earns they do not but that is from the automakers, not the government. Government contracts are not subsidies. Tesla has a couple billion in subsidies early on to get an EV business rolling.
