From 10,000 to Zero. Because Every Life Deserves a Future.
Every year, over 10,000 children in India are lost to suicide, not to inevitability, but to challenges that can be understood, addressed, and prevented.
10K2ZERO aims to be a national movement working to change this reality.
Led by the Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy (CMHLP), Indian Law Society (ILS), Quicksand, in partnership with Agatsu Foundation, the initiative brings together research, policy, design, and on-ground interventions to address one of the most critical public health concerns of our time.
The idea is to work across systems, equipping educators with life skills frameworks, enabling stress-free development for children, informing policy, and fostering open conversations around mental health.
Because the truth is complex, suicide is rarely caused by a single factor.
And it demands a response just as layered, just as collaborative.
PULSE 2026 and Maharashtra Government invites you to join the 10K2ZERO initiative!
