#dailydesigntip Have you heard of #fontfamilies? If you feel like your design is bland with the same font, try some different weights and styles of the same font to break up the monotony.
I think as part of my new candle business, I'm going to name my candles after indie books :-) any authors that would like their book as a candle, please let me know. I'll need to figure out a way to make it legal, and I will link your books on my product page.
#dailydesigntip Keep it simple silly! You've heard this one a hundred times before, but we changed it because nobody deserves to be called stupid. (Which is what we've all felt like while trying to use the remote on the right)
#dailydesigntip Make sure you can read the text on top of your background image. You can do this by pushing #contrast (making image darker or lighter than text) or reducing image #clarity (ex: blurring it).
#dailydesigntip Keep your design in line! Using lines is a great way to create more solid anchor points for the rest of a section. Ex: adding lines to a section header works well as a separator of information as well.
#dailydesigntip Use #Alignment to group things together. Imagine there is a grid on your design and things that go together should align to the same point on that grid.
@RomanceMystic glad it impressed you, we're eager to have time to explore this idea further as this was the first try at it! Animation is tricky to be blunt about it
