Some bright spark in @clarksshoes managed to send me one shoe that’s a size 6 and the other shoe as a size 5. Now I have a disappointed toddler and they have the audacity to expect you to pay for delivery again or waste time going into a store 🤦♀️
Honestly sick of @parcelforce right now. Hopefully with the 3rd attempt of telling them to deliver on Thursday they will listen rather than wasting everyone’s time!
It’s clear who we’re cheering on this weekend in Hungary. My 2 year just started chanting “oh Oscar Piastri” all by himself 😂 You’ve got a big fan here @OscarPiastri@McLarenF1
@_mels13 I would have loved that as a child! The costumes are just too much now and it feels like the point of the day is being missed in a lot of cases
My heart goes out to all the parents, esp the single mums, who had to send their kids into school in costume today for World Book Day.
As if there isn’t enough shit to do.
(Don’t @ me - I studied Lit & my kids love reading. This ritual is BS)
Can’t fully agree with this. A good teacher can really bring some of these texts to life. My love of Jane Austen’s work started because my GCSE English teacher introduced me to Pride and Prejudice.
After careful consideration, I am confident that the single most clinically effective way to quash any potential interest in literature, reading or poetry is the GCSE English Literature syllabus. A laser-guided method for taking something joyous and making it hateful.
