@yelahaustin And it’s hard to say if he will slow down on his own. A lot of dogs just love food, and it has nothing to do with thinking they may have it taken etc. They’re just excited to eat (I relate!)
@yelahaustin Nice! I hope that does well for you. One thing I’ve noticed about the maze bowls/slow feeders with most dogs is once they’ve used them a few times, they only add a few seconds to feeding time. I would add a little broth or water, or canned food, to add to the difficulty.
@GrimAvenue @yelahaustin I would recommend a treat dispensing toy over a maze bowl for his kibble, especially if he’s an anxious or busy dog. This works their brain more. I’d go with a few different puzzle toys or dispensing toys. You can DM me if you need more ideas or help Good luck! 🐾🫶🏻
@GrimAvenue @yelahaustin I hope I’m not too late to help! If he has anxiety around food I would recommend using feeding time as a training session at first, but introduce a treat dispenser - not necessarily using it for the full meal yet. Feed from hand, asking him to do things (easy stuff) 1/2
@kinsesu Ok here:
I’m working 50+ hours a week at a side job and I’ve been unable to do anything to bring me any sense of accomplishment, joy, or fulfillment. I’m exhausted, broke, and miserable. There’s been ONE fun and exciting thing I’ve done over the past several months.
Better?
