Reasonable consumers indeed know they won't own an intellectual property by buying a COPY of a product.
Reasonable consumers also stand up against corpos rebranding "buying/purchasing" into "licensing" to take away rightful ownership through semantics.
@PlayStation#FuckSony
@KidayaG@InGameMenu You're wrong. You still need the disk in your possession as you need to maintain that license.
The moment you sell the disk and someone else redeems it, your digital license is automatically revoked.
@Pirat_Nation Easy for them to say when they're the ones taking away the disks in the first place, making consumers forced to adapt to the shitty digital alternative.
@MeyerRants@HiTechLoLife1 Except it's not low sales. They're sold out and just can't manufacture as many as demand dictates due to component shortages.
@BatchGaming If the future of PlayStation is all digital, then I woke be a part of it. I got disks for the preservation.
I will be moving to PC from 2028, where I get to choose where I buy my games and back them up however I see fit, rather than get stuck with Sony's monopoly on their store.
@assassinscreed So what are the PS5 Pro Enhanced features? Surely it can handle Fidelity Mode at 60fps, or a Balanced Mode maybe?
I got a Pro so I WOULDN'T have to choose between these two options.
@xMBGx Sad to say, but yes. I've been with PlayStation since 1995, and physical is important to me. I'm not supporting a digital only future with a single store ecosystem.
I'll be moving to PC where I choose where to buy my games and back them up as I wish for preservation.
@pushsquare I will continue with whatever PS5 games I already have, but after that, my Steam Machine and PC will be the place for all future games.
Fuck Sony.
