We all are going to miss Mike Bobinski, but no one more than I.

Purdue made no wiser hire during my years there, and there was no one I enjoyed working with more. Mike insisted on a culture of winning and excellence, while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and character. Every Boilermaker can be proud of the performance as well as the values of the program he has led.

David Keene's passing deprives the nation of one its foremost political thinkers, and one of freedom's greatest friends and advocates. But our loss goes deeper. David was an exemplar of the respectful civility now so rare in our public debates. While staunch and vocal about his philosophy and principles, he maintained countless friendships with people across the political spectrum. We will all miss him as a friend but equally as a counsellor and sounding board.
