We start Monday, and for our final showcase, we have this years SL team! Our favorite part of band camp is meeting everyone and reuniting again! We’re all super excited to get started, and really can’t wait to get the season started. Thanks for following along, now onto camp 🎺🎺
Camp starts in a week, and Jack Rosenberg is here to keep you hyped! A current sophomore (2019-present) and a Computer Science and Data Science major, Jack’s favorite part of band camp is meeting all sorts of new people and doing the first march back to Elliott at the end of camp
Did somebody say... 10 days til camp? Destiny Westbrook did, and as a current marcher (2018-now), she wanted to share her favorite camp memory. Her first time marching down and seeing the new members faces was the best. Seeing this her freshman year caused her to love the AAMB 🎺
With two weeks til start, we’re getting excited, and Dominic Hoijer is here to help! Marching for 3 years and a major in civil engineering, Dom’s favorite memory is learning new dots for pregame as it’s always been his favorite thing to perform! He also loves seeing all the 🎺🎺!
17 days! Cassie McKee is next up to bring hype up for band camp! Cassie marched from 2015-2019 (SL for ‘17/‘18 seasons) and majored in Civil Enginerring during her time at Purdue. Her fav band camp memory was being part of that Big 10 Band sound for the first time (its good) 🎺
Band camp is in 24 days, so it’s time to hype it up with Jackson Honnold! With a major in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Stats, Jackson marched from 2015-2019. His favorite part of band camp was meeting all of the new people and seeing his old friends after the summer! 🎺
21 days from today until band camp! Kristin Darling, who marched from 2014-2018 (serving as a SL for 3 of them) and majored in Food Science, remembers her favorite memory as the end of camp performance as the first performance of that season’s All-American Marching Band! 🎺🎺
Next to hype up band camp is Leigh! A member of the AAMB from 2016-2020, her favorite part of band camp every time is the history lesson when we learn the legacy of Purdue Bands and Orchestras. The first time you are amazed at the rich history and how you’re now a part of it!
It’s 30 days til band camp, and you know what that means... time to get pumped! To help us, here’s Bobby! An alumni who marched from 2015-2018, his favorite camp memory is when the returning members and SLs march to Hull for the incoming students. It’s always a great surprise! 🎺
