I saw this as well, fun film but the fights were whatever. It needed undercranking because it looked like a rehearsal. The fact the OG had more emotions with the choreography thanks to Robin Shou shows some western choreographers don’t get what clicks.

Seriously that opening fight with Kitana and Jade was pure comical and ridiculously slow. Followed up with Johnny Cage with “Rock You like a Hurricane” was pure cheeks but the Baracka fight was dumb fun, Stephen Chow fun.

Besides that everything else was well put together especially Shao Khan was freaking great. Especially the look of the film. Is worth watching.
