Does the Lib Dems have a problem with assault? ๐คจ Because Iโm starting to see a pattern here!
Maybe ITV could do a little undercover snooping into this. ๐
Either way, I think the Lib Dems need to have a serious look at their vetting process!
@donmcgowan Why do you lie so openly? @ReformUKSam resigned from his cabinet position at Essex county council he wasnโt the leader. And he resigned solely because he is now the leader of the opposition in Basildon.
Dan Hodges (and Fraser Nelson) are both liars who tweet about me from behind a block so I can't respond on my account. To address his latest lies:
1) I had no plans to return to Britain after Reform conference, so why would I "brief journalists" that?
2) I live and work in Washington, D.C., so why would I go be a backroom boy for a UK political party?
3) I am, indeed, close with my friends. I'm sorry Dan doesn't have any.
To address Fraser's point: There's no "Nigeria Strategy." There's just me telling the truth about Kemi, and they hate it. They continue to FREAK OUT about it.
Cheers from Boston, USA! โย @RaheemKassam
Iโm English (With Mixed Heritage)
All my life, I was raised English. Nothing more, nothing less.
Over the last 20 years, Iโve discovered Iโm a third-generation immigrant with mixed heritage. Iโm also a Xennial, a veteran and a mother. But why does everything need a label? Iโm English. Thatโs how I was raised, and thatโs who I am.
I grew up playing Kerby, building dens, drinking from the garden hose and coming home when the street lights came on. Weekends meant a packed lunch, a bottle of pop and the freedom to disappear with your mates. No mobile phones. If you wanted to see someone, you knocked on their door.
I grew up in a deprived, working-class Labour city. My school wasnโt particularly diverse, but nobody cared about backgrounds. We were friends. The only racism I personally witnessed came from my own father, and even as a child, I knew it was wrong.
Today, everything revolves around labels. Ethnicity, sexuality, pronouns, religion and nationality. Identity politics seems to matter more than character, and Iโm sick of it.
My country has changed beyond recognition. Mass immigration, political neglect and the erosion of community have left many working-class people feeling forgotten by the very politicians who claim to represent them.
And who gets to define British culture? Westminster? The Home Office? Politicians disconnected from ordinary peopleโs lives?
To me, itโs our shared history, traditions, humour, national pride and sense of community. Itโs knowing your neighbours, respecting one another and feeling that you belong.
England wasnโt perfect, but there was something worth preserving. I donโt want to turn back time. I want a country where people are judged by their character, not their identity, and where loving your heritage doesnโt require an apology.
I was born English, raised English and served my country as an Englishwoman. My ancestry doesnโt change that.
Strip away the labels, and Iโm still that little English girl knocking on her friendโs door to ask if sheโs coming out to play.
Thatโs the England I miss ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
@RupertLowe10@GBNEWS Alister stop lying to your audience! Youโve been asked several times for interviews and have declined them isnโt that correct @grok
@RupertLowe10@GBNEWS Perhaps because you've turned them down a number of times, and never allowed your candidates to be interviewed by them, either? It's a two way street, mate. You don't just get to demand air-time when it suits you.
At just 8 years old, an young Harry Kane was ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ by Arsenal after being labelled โa bit chubbyโ and โnot very athletic.โ ๐
They didn't believe he had what it took.

He went on to become Tottenham's ๐๐๐-๐ง๐๐ ๐ leading goalscorer, England's ๐๐๐-๐ง๐๐ ๐ leading goalscorer and one of the deadliest strikers in world football. โฝ
