@Kesvalk@SirJessums The reason Elders are not capturable is not only size but also power. They're just too powerful to be contained properly. Jin Dahaad is an Elder level monster, and a massive one at that. How do you trap something like that with their technology level?
@Golden__Dodo Savage Omega took me to the edge of rage-quitting multiple times... until it clicked. It is the best collab they've done to date, and one of the best fights in mainline Monster Hunter as well.
@zDamascus There's degrees of casual though. One casual might be fucking around playing whatever they find cool or cute, the other casual might be having fun by spamming a cool move. The third casual has fun by learning and attempting to land sick combos, which the others don't really like.
@kizu_skip Powerscalers usually talk in "big number is bigger, therefore x beats y" without factoring in everything else, especially characterization. Example: Yes, someone like Sukuna would beat Jotaro because Jotaro NEVER goes for the kill whereas Sukuna kills on sight lol.
@_6signxxx Yeah it's rice 100%. The bigger question is: throw rice in with it or have rice in a separate bowl to not mix everything?
I would just mix it all tbh.
@cosmoserenata Virtua Fighter has 3 buttons but the complexity of its systems and nuances to the interactions would give any casual player a fucking heart attack lol. People don't want to invest time in practice, they want to just sit down and enjoy their time. Fighters ain't really like that.
@Icy_Daily@Merrydawg I managed to avoid BIG JJK spoilers for about a week or so before getting spoiled by a friend . Those spoilers were TRENDING for over a week too, and JJK was everywhere. That's one of the biggest names of recent animanga. A niche indie show can't be that hard.
@FrostDrakeHeart It ruins MH gameplay in my opinion. Fighting was always about positioning, and there was some really neat stuff you could do once you understood the monster and positioning. Focus broke that completely. There's no way GS or CB should be able to 180º to not miss. No way at all.
@UNKNOWN_BFW I'm assuming min-maxed heroics build with uuuuuuuh... bow? Sub 10 on that horrible fight is incredible, very well done bro. I only grinded until I could get A rank and forget it, I hate Arkveld with a passion.
@LuxSylva_ Her kit stayed the same. She still requires to do more to achieve what other characters do with less. Her damage is still high and she still has her reversals. She is basically the same character as always. Season 2 trauma is strong with her.
@Hinahaii Because the maps are immense and are actually horrible to travel by foot. There's also seikret only paths. Wilds' maps were designed with seikret in mind and that hurts exploration because the seikret just taxis you around. You don't engage with the map anymore.
@Hinahaii The difference is this made the player feel like a proper hunter (even if frustrating). Wilds removed any semblance of hunting. Just take an uber to the monster and scroll on your phone. Wow, that's such amazing immersion right there and much better than what we had before!
@Theshape1014 The game is insanely frustrating, and playing against a notoriously infuriating character as well. I honestly can't fault the Jin for giving up and because people get punished for leaving matches they're not having fun in, letting go of the controller is better.
@BannedDino FU is probably the last "pure" Monster Hunter experience in my opinion. I personally think new gen is missing too much friction, which made the old ones special and unique. I'd love a return to form and have preparation be a make or break for most hunts!
@Fergus_TK Makes a lot of sense actually! Could I bother you for your reasoning on why Hwoarang is a good matchup? Not going to lie, I struggle fighting him a lot, so I find it surprising to see you don't really consider him that much of an issue!
