It’s obvious that he provokes MC into fighting him, but he’s never actually trying to hurt her. I’d even say he enjoys it when she gets the upper hand because he recognizes just how strong she is, both mentally and physically.

I’ve always been vocal about how much I LOVE that Valko is a family man. Funny enough, this teeny, tiny little scene from the trailer sold that aspect of him for me.

He picked up the phone mid-fight (or made the call himself). Mid-fight!!! If I’m distracted, I wouldn’t pick up the phone or tell the caller to call me back at a later time. We don’t even know if these family members are blood-related or his adopted family, but he still whooped ass while informing his family he won’t be able to make it 😭 his family must love him a lot to make sure he’s included 🥺

It’s soooo attractive to see him be confident in his combat abilities that he can comfortably make casual phone calls like these 😭 it tells me his family means so much to him. it’s so refreshing 🤍
