@TheNitten I think they’re prioritizing reaching as balanced a state as possible for the no-patches future. Shoehorning new champions would be counterproductive to that.

Spoke to @Unconkable very briefly at Evo, expressing how much I want Swain in the game. I got the impression Swain doesn't get asked for often, although he's popular in future character polls I've seen, so I thought of a cool and very rough idea for him in 2XKO.

It would only start closing in slowly when he's in his demon form (2nd round), only to a max of 30-40% of the stage, and the drain would have to be VERY slow to be balanced, but it should be just enough to encourage close combat which is a fairly achievable counter.

@TheSupernoon What do you think sets apart high gms / low challengers from the names we see at top 24 or top 8 so often? I’m mid GM and struggling to break past that barrier. I’m also starting to think past a certain point rank loses meaning and it pays off more to spar or run long sets.
