My team and I have worked tirelessly hard on building what is a first-of-its-kind effort to hold space for Gen Z to share their perspectives on #MentalHealth.
A big thank you to everyone who participated & supported us.
Gen Z has spoken, stay tuned to hear their voice! 😁🧠🫶🏻
"Nothing good comes easy" but resilience shouldn’t mean learning to tolerate what could have been prevented.
Instead of asking young people, “How much can they endure?” we need to think “How much suffering can we prevent?”

Sometimes peace feels boring only because your nervous system has become accustomed to chaos. You’re not used to consistency, safety, honesty, and room to breathe. But eventually, you realize that boring wasn’t what you were afraid of. You were simply learning what peace feels like.
A woman is more than someone’s daughter, wife or mother. #Patriarchy doesn’t only restrict choices & autonomy, it can quietly reshape how women see themselves.
In my piece, I explore the #MentalHealth toll of being defined by everyone except yourself.

This #WorldMindfulnessDay, here's somethings worth doing more of for our #MentalHealth:
🌻 Listen but don't interrupt
👀 Notice but don't react
🩷 Feel but don't be bothered
☀️ Breathe but don't rush
💭 Think but don't worry
🫶 Do but don't hurry
You're not defined by your greatest wins or your hardest losses. You're not defined by what you do or provide. You are enough just because you are you.
One of the most beautiful signs of empathy is caring about suffering even when the one experiencing it cannot speak your language, look like you, or offer you anything in return.
As you head into a new week, remember that your best is enough. We see how hard you’re trying, and we’re so proud of you. Keep going. You’ve got this. 💙⭐

Sitting face-to-face isn't the only way to have a meaningful conversation. Going for a walk, cooking together, going to a sports match, or even on a drive can be great places to ask how someone is going.
Our Community Ambassador, Luke Carroll, chats to Connor Clothing and shares his favourite way to check in with the people in his world.

Suicidal ideation often sounds like:
“I’m so tired.”
“I can’t do this anymore.”
“Everyone would be better off without me.”
It’s rarely about death.
It’s about escape.
From overwhelm.
From shame.
From feeling like a burden.
And what people actually need
is support not silence.
You don’t prevent suicide by making somebody feel guilty about dying. You help prevent suicide by giving them reasons to believe that living might not always hurt this much.
