I've just received a copy of The Muslim Journal written by Mrs. @Omonegho04. And I feel truly humbled. More grateful that D Law, incoming SAN, @egi_nupe find me worthy as one of the beneficiaries of his friend's generosity. This will remain a great honour. More accolades and gratitude to the author, and I look forward to the manifestation of her greater exploits in guiding our small folks to become greater, rightfully useful and generally beneficial to our worlds. Jazakum Lahu Khairan to everyone.
There is a sister by the name Aminah on Instagram and TikTok. Her handles are the_Aminah on Instagram and the_Aminah1 on TikTok.
She shares daily Islamic reminders, and I genuinely appreciate the calmness, wisdom, and kindness with which she delivers them. Her reminders are thoughtful, beneficial, and always conveyed with beautiful manners.
May Allah be pleased with her, reward her abundantly, accept every reminder she shares as an act of ṣadaqah jāriyah, and make them a witness in her favour on the Day of Accountability.
Āmīn.
I highly recommend her pages to anyone looking for beneficial Islamic reminders.

One thing I hope to see in Nigeria's healthcare system someday is a stronger culture of patient education.
I admire how, in many foreign medical setting whether in real life or even in medical movies and series.....healthcare professionals take time to explain everything to their patients.
They walk them through what a procedure will involve, what to expect before, during, and after surgery, the possible risks, side effects, and even how a prescribed drug may affect their body. They carry the patient along every step of the way.
Unfortunately, that isn't always the experience here. Many patients are simply handed medications or scheduled for procedures with very little explanation. Sometimes, even asking about a drug's side effects is met with reluctance, as though giving too much information is unnecessary.
Then, when the patient eventually experiences a side effect and returns to the hospital, they're told, "Oh, that's one of the side effects of the medication." But imagine if that had been explained beforehand maybe the patient would have known what to expect and could also have shared relevant medical history that might influence the choice of medication or treatment.
Patient education shouldn't be seen as giving away too much information. It builds trust, helps patients make informed decisions, improves communication, and can even prevent avoidable complications.
I genuinely hope we get to a point where patients are treated as active participants in their own healthcare journey, not just recipients of medical care.
.... I just wanted to rant
Thank you for listening

It's my sister's first night in the grave and it's giving me chills.
Kindly plead to Allah on her behalf, ask Allah to illuminate Islamia's grave, tell Allah to ease her affair in it, raise her amidst Muslims, make her pass her trials and grant her Jannah.
Please share 😭🙏

1. If you do not observe your five daily solat at all, you are no longer a Muslim.
2. After the Qalimatus sha’adah, there is no pillars of Islam that is superior to the five daily solat.
3. The first thing you’ll be questioned about after your death is your five daily solat.
4. No matter how terrible your sickness is, as long as you’re conscious, five daily solat is a must for you, even if you’ll observe it lying down.
5. The Prophet ﷺ said that missing ‘Asr prayer is like losing one’s family and wealth (reported in Sahih al-Bukhari).
6. The day Umar Bin Kataab was killed, he was stabbed while observing the first rakah of solatu subhi, he was unconscious for more than 9 hours, when he later gained is consciousness, the first question he asked was “Did people complete their solat after I was stabbed” and from extreme bleeding and pain, he also observed the remaining one rakah he missed.
What’s the essence of all of these?
Take care of your five daily solat, it’s the main reason you’re a Muslim.
