@NicolaSturgeon It is truly sad to see in the polls how many people are apparently agreeing with him. I'm German. And I absolutely love living in Scotland. I will always remain German but Scotland is now my home. Historically speaking the "they are not like us" rethoric leads nowhere good.
@GradySNP@scotgov@GNWCAB Was really pleased about this and about getting your letter through the post. So good to feel the support as EU citizen although we can't even give you our vote in a general election. Very decent of you!
The difference between the translation industry and accountancy service providers? The latter apparently gets to demand a six months turnaround window to deliver three hours worth of work and charge Β£300 for it. I'm in the wrong business.
So, on my journey from Nottingham to Glasgow I have been on one train that was cancelled due to technical failure and am currently being held in the middle of nowhere because of a broken down train in front of us. I'm sensing an urgent need for train maintenance. #trainfail
@PhoebeRaven Shoot them. Politely. I feel your pain. Been working with clients in Singapore, London, New York and San Francisco. It's always 9am somewhere! π
What to do with time-wasters on LinkedIn who send job offer messages and don't even have the courtesy to read your profile to realize how irrelevant that particular piece of communication will be. Minimum fee will be applied. #freelanceforever#aintgotnotimeforthat
@PhoebeRaven Exactly! And the argument that kids don't learn languages because of feeling self-conscious when they get it wrong is futile. It's the same for everyone when they learn languages. It's not about it being difficult. It's about willingness.
The result of bad decisions regarding language teaching in schools or just general indifference towards foreign languages? Or both? https://t.co/kDa29SBSXr
