QG SIGNALS PUBLIC DUTIES RECCE
Comd, GM and RSM QG SIGNALS along with other members of the Regiment recced several locations in London for public duty preparation as part of Paltan’s 75th Anniversary celebration. The team was hosted by the Headquarters Household Division.
The Queen's Gurkha Signals celebrated its 74th Regimental Birthday with a Parade on the 16th of September at Bramcote Barracks in the UK.

Celebrating the anniversary of Queen’s Gurkha Signals.
Today marks the anniversary of the cap-badging ceremony of Queen's Gurkha Signals (then known as Gurkha Royal Signals). Formed during the Malayan Emergency, the ceremony was held at Lamjung Camp in 1954.
The QG SIGNALS celebrated its 74th Regimental Birthday Parade on Sat 16 Sep 23 at Bramcote station. The parade was witnessed by the Col of the Regt Brig Mike Fayers, Corps Col R SIGNALS, Col BG, Comd and GM QG SIGNALS with past and present members, including their families.
Col of the Regt Brig Mike Fayers Saheb, accompanied by GM Saheb, including RHQ QG SIGNALS and a few serving Officers of the Paltan attended the QG SIGNALS Association (QGSA) members/families’ Annual Get-Together and Regimental Birthday Celebration on Sat 9 Sep 23 in London.
On 27 Jul 23, the Col of the Regt QG Signals Brig Mike Fayers Saheb, accompanied by Gurkha Major Maj Deepak Rai MVO and WO1 (RSM) Subash Thapa, paid an official visit to 249 Gurkha Sig Sqn and 246 Gurkha Sig Sqn.

Captain (QGO) (Retd) Rambahadur Limbu VC MVO passed away peacefully in Nepal on 22nd April 2023, age 83. The Brigade of Gurkhas extend their deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, and give thanks for his life.

Last weekend members of the Queen's Gurkha Signals with their families celebrated their 73rd Birthday and Dashain 2079. The Paltan bade farewell to Colonel of the Regiment Major General JJ Cole CB OBE, and welcomed Brigadier MJ Fayers as his successor.
