Being a good person does not guarantee a good life.
Morality does not provide immunity from disease, poverty, betrayal, accidents, injustice, or tragedy. Good people can suffer terribly, while terrible people can prosper.
Where’s the man who was asking his wife to hand over her successful business to him after his mismanaged his and was threatening divorce? He needs to watch this and learn.

It’s looking like a win takes us to the Europa League, a draw takes us to the Conference League, and a loss leaves us with nothing.
Please win or lose o.. just DON’T draw!
Women need to hustle like mad, if you and I are paying for the house, which house are you threatening me to leave?
It is always a good thing to put in money in your household, buy properties together.
As we’re splitting, we’re splitting things.
One thing I've realized is that, you don't need to vent to your friends about everything that you're going through. Sometimes it's okay to just pray about it and move on. Let it be between you and God.
There is a place of belief.
I and my wife have the belief that the man should be the head of the home in love, guidance and provision.
There is another place for reality and kindness which Islam encourages. I did not have to sit my wife down to start explaining the need for her to pick up some bills. She’s aware of my salary and she knows that the best thing to do to make my life easier is to be supportive.
I don’t pay all bills alone but I pay more because I earn more.
In as much as I’m not forcing her to do it, I’m not sinning.
If a point comes that she decides to stop paying bills, and it becomes extremely difficult to cater for her and the kids, I reserve the right to find another woman who is kind enough to understand that one person’s salary is not enough in the early days of living in the Uk.
And she reserve the right to find another man who is capable enough to foot all her bills.
Life no suppose hard.
This odogwu mentality reminds me of my aunt’s husband, who had stroke in the US after years of carrying about 90% of the family responsibilities. Constant work and pressure led to high BP, and now he’s confined to a wheelchair.
As a result, things became extremely tough…and my aunt who rarely bothered about the house bills had to double her workload just to keep everything together. Unfortunately, she d!ed last year due to stress.
Husband’s health might not have deteriorated, and my aunt might still be alive, if they had both given their 100% from the beginning.
When one person carries a home, two people end up paying the price…it’s a matter of time.
Marriage is not supposed to be a “his bills, her bills” arrangement. Especially abroad.
Once you marry, both of you should stop thinking like flatmates doing cost sharing and start thinking like a family building one future.
The real conversation is not 50/50, 70/30, or “leave rent for him.”
It should be... what is our total income? What are our total needs? What is our budget? What are we saving? What are we investing?
A healthy home is not built on divided responsibility.
A healthy home is built on shared vision.
When couples keep saying “this one is for him” and “this one is for her,” they may survive, but they rarely build wealth as one unit.
Learn now or learn the hard way. You are both healing in different directions.
Maturing is realizing when you wake up randomly at 3am or 4am you’re supposed to pray. Over your home, over your children. Then sit and listen to what God tells you to do next
