Doctors are not Gods… 26 years ME/Fibromyalgia. Oncologist- breathe deeper, Tropical/D Specialist- your body likes to complain, Rheumatologist- nice chest 🥴
"Unrefreshing sleep." Every morning when I wake up it feels like I just got home from driving 10 hours in heavy traffic. Total mental and physical exhaustion from square one. Every. Single. Day.
#LongCovid
20 years? About 71%
30 years? Around 90%.
Disabled. By. Long. Covid. And by 20-30 years, nearly everyone has Long Covid.
As I often say, this is just a toy model. It IS wrong, no doubt, but I wonder - how right COULD it be?
Ready? Let's roll the dice.
Some Long Covid Math:
I decided to run some pure math-y calculations, based on the CDC's estimates of Long Covid that came out last week. I was curious - how prevalent will Long Covid (and disabling LC) be?
fears are being realized - for the 1st time since 2020, i feel okay enough to leave the house for a non-essential activity.. but i can't go anywhere because i'll probably just contract #COVID again. i always dreamt of "getting better".. but wtf are we supposed to do once we have?
I want to make sure I'm following all the people who think the updated @CDCgov@CDCDirector guidelines on #Covid19 are absolute ableist rubbish.
