@Neuro_Matt Same xp. Had a bully F1 supervisor-gran died- had to travel hours for funeral. He said 'sorry you missed some clinical xp'. No condolences-nothing. Used to tell me I was a crap doc. Also had to do 7x 12.5hr shifts in a row during surgery...BMA&Hosp didn't help...2hr round trip.

@Dr_BellaR If admin write a specific time a patient is available, I always endeavour to call them at thay time even though admin will have said no guarantees. No easy answers as we do deal with emergencies and urgent situations in GP also. I've been in your shoes.

@UKGastroDr More time means more alignment of priorities and meeting the patient where they are at if required. Informed decisions in a 10min GP consult is challenging for complex patients with multimorbidity and polypharmacy.

@DrJSherrington I do some of this work with a big company but only follow BSSM guidelines with fully informed consent and counselling and I signpost them to see their NHS GP for endocrine input if they're unsure or money is a concern. Some TRT companies are known to be more 'relaxed'.
