Unfortunately there are hundreds of such churches: LCMS is loaded with churches where a wealthy soon-to-die generation has paid down debt and managed facilities… but not kept their kids in the faith.

Every church hopes their church will be where the young people cluster, but the truth is painful:

There just aren’t many young people, because the financially responsible generation turned out not to be familially responsible.
