Yesterday morning, Thursday 23rd April 2026, at the URA Bi-Annual Bank Appreciation Conference, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) recognised banks that demonstrate excellence in compliance, innovation, customer service, and contribution to national revenue growth.

I&M Bank (Uganda) Limited received the 1st Runners Up for The Most Compliant Bank in recognition of excellence in compliance and precision in remittances for the Financial Year 2025/2026.

1. Timely responding to and resolving client issues.
2. Compliance with T+2 for remittance of collections to the Bank of Uganda.
3. Submitting to URA – the remittance advice for transfers to Bank of Uganda as per the collection agreement.
4. Threshold of 98% compliance for credits and notification of payments.
5. PRN Error control.
