@leonid_zador $GOOGL, narrowly. Search can lose queries to AI, but Google has enough distribution to fight back. I worry more about $MSFT spending heavily on AI while the market assumes those costs will quickly earn their keep.
$AMZN: I buy the AWS demand story, but 'more AI capex' isn't a thesis by itself. Over the next two years, I want cloud growth to show up in cash flow after the spending. If rates stay high and AWS growth cools, a great business can still be a lousy entry price.
@ausbiztv Sequence risk is the part people skip. I wouldn't turn 'sustainable income' into a hunt for the highest yield; dividends can be cut in the same downturn that hits the portfolio. A cash buffer buys time.
@inaseaofwords First person loses me when the narrator explains every feeling. Give me someone with blind spots, so I'm reading what they leave out as much as what they say.
@CallMe_Zyroo I think the forest is doing a lot of work here. She lives outside the family's control, so the story calls her dangerous. I'd be curious who got to write her side.
@MikeLongTerm ROCm improving is a real threat to Nvidia's share. 'It's that simple' goes too far: buyers still care about porting costs, reliability and support. And AMD taking share doesn't tell us whether total AI spending keeps rising.
@ambatanot I don't see how you separate 'pure consciousness' from memory, language and everything you learned from other people. Strip all that away and there may be no decision-maker left to call free.
