"तुम सिर्फ स्टार नहीं, फीलिंग हो।" प्रिय शाहरुख, @iamsrk मैं तुम्हें “शाहरुख खान” नहीं कह सकता। तुम सिर्फ़ नाम नहीं हो, तुम वक़्त हो। वो वक़्त, जब टीवी पर तुम्हारे हाथ फैलाने से दीवारों में दरारें नहीं, उम्मीदें फूट पड़ती थीं। तुम एक अकेले आदमी की हिम्मत हो, जो दिल्ली की गलियों से चला और मुंबई के समंदर के सामने ��क महल बना बैठा – “मन्नत”। कभी-कभी सोचता हूँ, कि अगर 1992 में "दीवाना" न आई होती तो क्या मैं आज भी मोहब्बत पर इतना यक़ीन करता? या अगर "डर" में तुमने "क...क...किरण" न कहा होता तो क्या पागलपन को भी इश्क़ कहने की हिम्मत हम कर पाते? तुमने विलेन बनकर भी हमें मोहब्बत करना सिखाया। तुमने “बाज़ीगर” में हमें बताया कि जीतने के लिए सब कुछ खोना भी पड़ सकता है, और “चक दे” में ये कि सिर्फ़ लड़कियाँ नहीं, सपने भी खेलते ह��ं मैदान में। शाहरुख, तुम्हारा सिनेमा हमारी जात नहीं पूछता। तुम्हारे डायलॉग न मज़हब मांगते हैं, न सरनेम। तुम्हारे चेहरे पर वो अदा है जो हर मोहल्ले के लड़के को स्टार बना देती है –कम से कम उसके ख़्वाबों में। जब तुम “स्वदेश” में गाँव लौटते हो, तो लगता है जैसे हर पढ़ा-लिखा इंसान अपनी जड़ों में पानी डाल रहा है। जब तुम “कल हो न हो” में रोते हो, तो ऐसा लगता है जैसे किसी ने पर्दे के उस पार बैठी मेरी आँखों से आंसू गिरा दिए हों। तुम सिर्फ़ एक अभिनेता नहीं, तुम सिनेमा के परदे पर टंगे सपनों के सबसे ख़ूबसूरत पोस्टर हो। तुम वो कहानी हो, जिसे हर ग़रीब लड़का अपने तकिये के नीचे रखकर सोता है। तुम्हारा ��ंघर्ष –दिल्ली का थिएटर, बिना गॉडफादर के फ़िल्मी दुनिया में उतरना, माँ-बाप को खोना और फिर भी मुस्कराना – ये सब तुम्हारी फिल्मों से बड़ा किरदार है।।तुम सिर्फ़ “राज” या “राहुल” नहीं हो, तुम वो यक़ीन हो जो मुमकिन को मुमकिन बनाता है। शाहरुख, आज जब इस देश में मोहब्बत को शक़ की नज़रों से दे��ा जाता है, तुम अब भी वो हो जो कह सकते हो – "हम एक बार जीते हैं, एक बार मरते हैं, शादी भी एक बार होती है और प्यार... एक ही बार होता है..." इस दौर में जब नाम से पहले धर्म पूछे जाते हैं, तुम अब भी 'खान' होकर भी पूरे भारत के दिल में धड़कते हो। मुझे नहीं पता, तुम ये ख़त पढ़ोगे या नहीं। लेकिन अगर कभी पढ़ो तो बस इतना समझ लेना –.किसी झारखंड के गांव से आया एक लड़का तुम्हें ऐसे चाहता है जैसे कोई बच्चा अपने टूटे खिलौनो�� को भी सहेज कर रखता है। क्योंकि तुम सिर्फ़ स्टार नहीं, "फीलिंग" हो। तुम्हारे बिना बॉलीवुड अधूरा है, और बिना तुम्हारे हाथ फैलाए कोई जिंदगी की ट्रेन चलती नहीं। ख़त लिखने वाला लड़का। चाय इश्क़ और राजनीति।
