@CollinCall_in @Damac1214 There were parts of Weapons that were so dark I couldn't tell what was going on for minutes at a time. Especially inside the house. Maybe its my TV, but I've never had a problem to that extent with any other film.
RE was much better in that regard, I thought.

@bu4rdd @ghostofkurta Its cheaper to shoot a film set in modern day than it would have been to set a film in 1998. You'd need period consultants, track down vehicles to use from that era, wardrobe, change set design, etc. If it doesnt make a difference to the plot, then why go through the expense.

@poopwithpeeonit @TrymArtShack This is pretty much how I viewed it. What if it was the G-virus that got out instead of the T and it took place in 2026 rather than 1998. But that was probably more of a production decision (easier and cheaper to shoot modern day than a fictional 1998 period peice)

@PunkishNano @JesuroShimuzu This is a fine desire. I guess my only problem is that the games barely follow this criteria most of the time, and frequently break it. Things are retconned constantly, past events explained away, ect., just for an excuse to create their own story.

@atlanlol @Better5olutions Which flip areas? Only ones I know of atm are florida and Michigan. Many more have lost to more centrist candidates - like Crockett did to Talerico. Also Talerico is certainly more of a status quo dem than a progressive, undoubtedly. AIPAC isnt the litmus test for that.
