SpaceX has just officially confirmed today that the SpaceX board of directors has formed a special committee to evaluate a potential combination between SpaceX and @Tesla.
“No determination by our special committee has been made regarding any potential combination, and any potential combination would be subject to further approval by our special committee, our board of directors and our controlling shareholder. There can be no assurance that any agreement will be reached or that any transaction will be consummated, and the special committee may determine not to proceed with recommending any transaction it does not believe to be in the best interests of our shareholders.”
This is via SpaceX’s new 10-Q filing with the SEC.
ARKK UPDATES THEIR 2031 $TSLA TESLA VALUATION MODEL, SEES BASE CASE OF $4400/SHARE, A 12X FROM TODAY’S PRICES
- Robotaxis are expected to drive 80% of Tesla’s enterprise value by 2031, making autonomous transportation the overwhelming driver of ARK’s valuation. ARK projects 8.1 million robotaxis generating $753 billion in annual ride-hailing revenue, supported by operating costs potentially 40% below Waymo’s and a massive expansion of the ride-hailing market through lower prices.
- Optimus humanoid robots are emerging as Tesla’s second major growth engine, with ARK forecasting approximately 1 million externally sold robots and $212 billion in annual revenue by 2031. ARK estimates a $26 trillion addressable market for humanoid robotics and expects Tesla to invest approximately $225 billion cumulatively in AI infrastructure by 2031 to support its ambitions.
In the base case, Tesla would be worth $18T within the next 4 years.
My 76-year-old Mom took her first ever @Tesla Cybercab ride today! She loved it.
"Kudos to the designers and the engineers. I would recommend this to everybody. It was totally outstanding. Really comfortable. It feels like flying first class. It's very clean. The seats are nice. Extremely roomy. I felt like I was treated like a guest."
Sharing this moment with my Mom - her first-ever ride in a fully autonomous Robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals - was something special I’ll never forget.
Want more evidence that @Tesla FSD is going mainstream? Here’s Kelly from The Car Mom - who reviews family vehicles and tests how well car seats fit in them - driving the new Model Y L.
"I'm on FSD. This is the most unbelievable technology I have ever experienced in a car. This is absolutely next-level. It is crazy. I'm going to Target. It is going to pull me into the Target parking lot. I really trust the car. I've taken it through stop lights, intersections, I mean it pulled out of my driveway. It's amazing."
When you have people like this starting to praise FSD, you're reaching an audience that just isn't that knowledge about this tech. Looking forward to Tesla's Q3 earnings report on Oct 21 to hear the latest FSD adoption rates/info. On the Q2 earnings call, Tesla said that they achieved record FSD attach rates in North America, with over 55% of new deliveries including FSD subscriptions.
Kelly's not on 𝕏, but you can check out her other Model Y L content here (including how well car seats fit in the Y L): https://t.co/VXcxjjOqRK
