@hanapamo It really set the tone for my belief that we're all better off being in it together, and everyone is equal and should be allowed the same chances, its why I love gaming so much, doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, only how you behave. Kids will lose some of that too.

@hanapamo I can very much relate to that as well, I'm oooold millennial, grew up with both, being able to play outside, and being able to talk to peeps in Japan, America, Europe and more, were some of the formative "the world is full of different people who have all this stuff in common".

@hanapamo ..I know, I sound borderline conspiratorial, but look up who wrote the first draft of this bill, who's been pushing for this from the start. The kids are a casualty, trojan horse style, not a victory.
If they didn't want your ID, accounts older than 16 would be exempt.

@hanapamo This talking point is very valid for public discourse, but this isn't at all related to the reason this got introduced. They(the lobbyists who wrote it) just want to sell age verification services, and the government want to implement Digital ID

Listen, if I totally vanish, from my 18 year old account, its because they required my to validate with my ID that I'm older than 16.
Because quite frankly @UKgovcomms we can see straight through your crap.
