@ArcadeRacing_0 This is such a fun game to play. So rewarding when you finally get that zen state required to drift around each bend... hopefully more people get to enjoy that a bit easier with this.
Put some headphones on, turn it up and enjoy those blue sky's from the couch :)
I'm in my own #xboxlab with Scud Race running natively on Xbox360.

Its finally coming home with some much needed modernisations.
Coming to Series X, 360 and PC.
@Dirtride2005Men@Ronto_255 You should really see whats out there rather than assuming everything not official is trash.
Fans have made some excellent ports that in some cases exceed the official releases.
@Dirtride2005Men@Ronto_255 Search the Ridge Racer collection. This was done by one person, the hamster port while accurate had very little in quality of life improvements. The homebrew version adds features that should have been int he official such as HD/UHD widescreen and online multiplayer....
@MThunderwing We can also do things like relink the early Super beginner course and incorporate controller profiles to make it more accessible.

I cant wait to move onto the networking to see what we can do with multiplayer.
@MThunderwing The main point is to get rid of the emulation layer to allow it to run on older hardware. We can also do a lot of QOL adjustments direct to the game rather than via emulation and renderer hacks.
Here it shows true 16:9, true 32:9 and the attract running at 1500+ FPS in 4k.
@Hammerdinnii@LabeVROfficial Also, the quest is subsidised like a console is cause like a console they hope you will buy software from them. The frame is not despite taking a 30% cut from developers.
@timeextension64@PandaMoniumGR I love how everyone who can spot slop a mile off LOVED ocarina of time and praised it as the best but now its retroactively slop since they disclosed using it. Absolutely priceless ๐
@Jacqu_o2_CSV@StriderVM Right. But when thats not available or if the unofficial exceeds the official whats the issue?
Devs here see someone playing their 25 year old game and appreciate people STILL enjoy their efforts. In JP people worry that someone missed out on 0.2cents when the game is not sold...
@StriderVM@Jacqu_o2_CSV JP Scene is wild. They would rather a game faded into obscurity while complaining it cant be bought, then celebrate when the absolute mvp version is released for sale.
I could never work it out.
@ManaByte Not a Sony defender... Last Playstation i owned was a ps2.
I genuinely wonder though how much longer disc drives will be useful? Given the size restrictions and ballooning install sizes.
@TechGeekATX@oreokookiGaming@TheRedDragon@grok Yes, it must have been a rough few years for them. Cant imagine how difficult it must have been to break it to the shareholders they only DOUBLED profits.
Bleak times indeed.
@TechGeekATX@oreokookiGaming@TheRedDragon@grok Im not sure if you are laughing out of ignorance or if you just cant see the trees for the forest.
Clearly Konami are not "floundering" as you claim, they just dont make the content you specifically want.
