@james_xond Age 12, babysitting, ironing for neighbors and child modeling. Age 16 worked 30 hours per week at a hotel restaurant every day after school. I was a lil hustler! Lol. But I hustled so much I was able to retire young eventually.

I’m 62 and lived in NYC from 1986-2018. When I was young, ALL the drag queens were fun and they knew they were adult entertainment. I can’t believe how many of them turned into bullies who are such misguided narcissists that they would allow themselves to be exploited as political pawns and do that crap to children. Also this: many children are terrified of clowns. Drag queens are basically adult clown-and some of the looks are terrifying to children on their own. I know there are drag queens horrified by what is going on, but I wish more of them would stand up to this.
