The Post-Quantum Cryptography (#PQC) migration roadmap marks a crucial step towards ensuring #India’s future cryptographic security and digital sovereignty, particularly given the critical role of Digital Public Infrastructure in the country: @PrateekTri1990 https://t.co/Nmjl6OHLAI
Shunya (Śūnya) is not absence—it's the living source of all potential. Quantum fields arise from similar 'nothingness.'
NQM harnesses this for India's sovereign quantum leap.

AI is only as trustworthy as the encryption protecting it.
Quantum breaks that encryption.
Digital trust in the AI era isn't a software problem; it's a physics problem.
India has a quantum-native answer.

The future of secure telecommunications will be defined by how prepared we are for the quantum era.
Our CEO, Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay - @rkupadhyay , shared @CDOT_India ’s vision and progress toward building quantum-secure communication systems for #India at a high-level workshop on “Quantum Safe Communication” hosted by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (@TRAI ).
The workshop brought together key stakeholders from across India’s #telecom and #cybersecurity ecosystem, including representatives from National Security Council Secretariat, @IndiaDST , @TEC_DoT_India and @DSCI_Connect to deliberate on the transition towards a quantum-secure communication ecosystem.
During his presentation on “C-DOT’s Initiatives in Quantum Communication”, Dr. Upadhyay highlighted C-DOT’s #indigenous developments in Quantum Key Distribution (#QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (#PQC), including #innovations such as Measurement Device Independent QKD (MDI-QKD) and the Quantum Video IP Phone designed for secure communications in the quantum era.
He also shared updates on technology deployments and Transfer of Technology (ToT) partnerships enabling large-scale adoption, while emphasizing C-DOT’s role as a key hub for #quantum communication under India’s National Quantum Mission - @nqmdst .
C-DOT remains committed to advancing indigenous technologies that will help build a quantum-secure telecom network for India by 2033.

The future of connectivity will not be defined by speed alone, but by intelligence, security, and precision.
At the 33rd Convergence India Expo, I had the privilege of moderating the inaugural session on “6G, AI & Quantum: Shaping the Intelligent Future of Connectivity,” which brought together an outstanding panel including Brig. Anil Tandan (Retd.), Brig. Savjit S. Soin, Dr. R. K. Upadhyay, Puneet Garg, and Bharat B Bhatia for a deeply insightful discussion on what lies ahead.
One message emerged unequivocally for the nation at large: the next era of connectivity will be shaped by those who lead, not those who follow.
6G will not be an extension of 5G. It will be fundamentally different. AI native and quantum aware by design, it will transform how networks are architected, secured, and scaled. As data consumption accelerates and global standardisation frameworks evolve toward 2030, India stands at a critical strategic inflection point.
The convergence of AI and quantum technologies with telecom infrastructure will redefine network optimisation, enable quantum secure communication, and unlock ultra precise, low latency systems required for next generation applications. The real disruption lies in integration, not substitution.
For India, this is a moment of strategic opportunity. We must move beyond rapid adoption to becoming architects of global standards. This will require decisive action on Tech development, spectrum strategy, stronger public private collaboration, and forward looking regulatory frameworks that enable innovation while ensuring security and scale.
Equally critical is building a future ready talent ecosystem that can operate at the intersection of AI, telecom, and quantum technologies.
It is India’s moment to shape the future of global connectivity.
